Alice M. Hodgkin was a late 19th century and early 20th century writer who wrote on all sorts of religious topics, including this work.
From the preface "ON the glorious resurrection morning Mary went to seek for Jesus. She sought Him in the tomb, but He stood beside her. She thought He was the gardener, but the one word “Mary” revealed to her her Saviour. As we read some passage in the Old Testament how often our eyes are holden, and we see only the earthly form we see Aaron the priest, or David the shepherd, or Solomon the king; but if, like Mary, we are really seeking the Lord Jesus, He manifests Himself to us through the outward type, and we turn in glad surprise, and, looking up, say, “Rabboni” (lit. my great One). As we continue to seek, we find Him in the least expected places of the Old Testament, until the whole grows luminous with the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. “In the volume of the book it is written of Me.” All the lines of history and type, of Psalm and prophecy, converge towards one centre—Jesus Christ, and to one supreme event. His death on the Cross for our salvation. And from that centre again all the lines of history in the book of Acts, of experience in the Epistles, and of prophecy in Revelation radiate out once more to testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. After His resurrection our Lord not only “opened the Scriptures” to His disciples, but also “opened their understanding that they might understand the Scriptures.” He is ready to do the same for us. The same Holy Spirit who moved holy men of old to write the Scriptures, is close at hand to make the words life to our souls, by taking of the things of Christ and revealing them unto us. Of the books of the New Testament only a brief summary is here given, partly because they are so much more studied, partly because to treat of them at any adequate length would swell this book beyond the limits of a single volume, and still more because the chief aim of the present Studies is to show that Christ is the Key to the Old Testament Scriptures. To encourage others to seek Him for themselves, under the guidance of the Spirit, in the pages of Holy Scripture, is the object of this book. I would here gratefully acknowledge the help of Fielden Thorp, B.A., and the Rev. James Neil, M.A., in revision, and of other friends in various ways."

"Christ in All the Scriptures" presents a unified, big-picture view of the Bible as being solidly-centered on Jesus Christ, Old Testament as well as New.The Waxkeep and Skyros ebook editions (both of which I own) are nicely formatted, the only quibble to me being that space is used to distinguish paragraphs in the Waxkeep edition; I much prefer the traditional paragraph indention used in the Skyros edition, that being the reason why I acquired it even though I had previously downloaded the other. (Each was free at the time.) In both, an active TOC provides direct access to all Bible books being addressed.
Insofar as Christ is prefigured throughout the Old Testament, Hodgkin goes book-by-book to identify OT passages that reflect Jesus's life and teachings, and His fulfillment of OT Messianic prophecy. And just as the entire OT points to the coming of Jesus as Lord and Savior, the NT proclaims His Glory as the Risen Christ -- and these passages are also presented and examined.
Many religion books written in the early 1900's are antiquated, their old-fashioned style verbose or tedious, and their doctrine either questionable or obscure. Not so this one. Its unspeculative, soundly-traditional, Scripture-based content and explanations are refreshingly faithful to God's Holy Word and are amply but succinctly presented. It is not only very readable but uplifting and delightful -- and, more importantly, it is consistently God-honoring.
Over the years I have found Hodgkin's book useful for teaching, for personal Bible study, and for devotional reading -- so much so that my old paperback reprint edition has fallen apart from heavy use. I am very happy to now have two ebook editions to replace it.

Christ in All the Scriptures Alice M Hodgkin 9781519455321 Books Reviews
The perfect book for seeing the prophecies of our Messiah and Saviour Yeshua in the Old Testament come to fulfillment in the New Testament! An eye-opener for the Jewish community who have the courage to read the end of the story that begins in "their" Scriptures.
love it
I gave it as a gift as I already knew it was very good! The transaction was uneventful!
A labor of love for the sake of Christ. Old but still new.
Excellent study material being used for our Bible Study group.
I found this forgotten book in one of my bookcases last night. I was delighted to find that it was inscribed with the author's signature -- "Alice Mary Hodgkin" in beautiful handwriting, along with the words, "The Son of God, Who loved me and gave himself for me."
From the little I read I decided to add the version to my library, and was happy to see that it was from the Waxkeep Publishers which is a decent publication (as opposed to what one reviewer posted with a poor review).
Any book that exalts the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word is of great value, and I look forward to continuing to read in this book to get my mind and spirit more saturated with Him.
An interesting book recommended by David Pawson.
