I was drawn to this book initially because of the illustrations by Olaf Hajek. I ordered a couple copies thinking that I could give them as holiday gifts to my therapist co-workers. I received my copies today and what a lovely little book! It's rich with wisdom and practical suggestions of how to practice daily mindfulness to increase joy. As a therapist, it's much of what I try to teach clients every day at work, as well as practice myself. Highly recommended to buy 2 copies -- give one away and gift one to yourself. Really enjoyed all the simple activities that you can do to stay grateful, positive and joyful. Great for groups, all ages and also great ideas for school teachers.
Give the give the gift of JOY! You`ll never see a moment as`mundane` again! Tzivia Gover shares so many ways to wrap each moment of life to make them new in all kinds of joy-filled ways. It was fun to wrap the brightly colored book with a ribbon like a bouquet of flowers. My friends enjoyed receiving it so much, I am going to order a few more copies now.
This small book is packed with suggestions for finding more joy and abundance in daily life, work and relationships. This is a good book for the bedside table or to give as a gift. A light, quick and enjoyable read. Pretty illustrations as well.
Just finished reading Tzivia Gover’s Joy in Every Moment and can joyfully recommend this book to everyone. The writing is superb, some of the ideas are pretty profound and all are clearly expressed, often in witty and amusing ways. The information is solid and the examples offered to complement this are helpful and fun to do.
I like the overall appearance of this book and the writing only appears to a certain spectrum of women. I much preferred reading the book o"The Secrets of Joy" by Running Press.
Tzivia Gover has given all of us a very precious gift --JOY --her latest book. We are all subject to highs and lows.
